City Forest is a type of lowland tropical rainforest ecosystem that is rich in biodiversity, both flora and fauna. It has several types of protected flora. In City Forest, five types of flora have the highest important value of species. They are Bridelia minutiflora, Schima walichii, Alstonia angustifolia, Endospermum diadenum and Ostodes pendula. The extinction level of flora species is from least concern to extinct.
Method of flora data collection activities (tree species) in City Forest uses census inventory method. The species are Thallophyta, Orcidacea, Bryophyta and Araceae. The diversity index value of flora found in City Forest is in intermediate level (1 ≤ H’ ≤ 3). It means that the community of constituent vegetation is stable enough. The types of flora identified in natural forests are Cempedak (Artocarpus integra), Palm oil (Elaeis guineensis), Salam (Syzygium eliptilimbum) and Kokang Leaves (Licuala sp).
